Birthday Ride!
September 22, 2011
The day dawned beautiful, with just a hint of autumn in the air. It’s my birthday, and I wanted to ride.
So I mounted up the video camera, put the audio gadget in the side pocket of Val’s tank bag with a bottle of water in the other side, and headed out for a ride on some of Gold Country’s roads. We hit several roads I haven’t ridden in a few years, and one I’d never been on before.
Join me for a fun morning of riding on Val the Viffer!
Segment 1: Shake Ridge Road from SR88 to Fiddletown Road
Segment 2: Fiddletown Road from Shake Ridge to the town of Fiddletown
Segment 3: Fiddletown Road from the town Fiddletown to Shenandoah Valley and Plymouth
Segment 4: Willow Creek Road from Hwy 16 to Hwy 124
Segment 5: Sutter-Ione Road from Hwy 124 to Hwy 49
I hope you enjoyed my Birthday Ride as much as I did!

Incredible!!!!!!!!
This is what its all about!
Thanks Tom! There are more rides to come!
Is that the stock exhaust?
I really enjoyed watching these; they remind me of my all too brief couple years in CA….
Thanks Jenn. No, the exhaust is a full 4:1 Yoshimura system.
